             Oscar Wilde was born in 1854. He was a famous playwright who also wrote a number of stories. His most famous works include, 'The Importance of being Earnest', 'The Picture of Dorian Gray', and 'The Happy Prince and Other Tales'. He married Constance Lloyd in 1884, and they had two children. He later began affairs with multiple men, including Lord Alfred Douglas. Wilde and his wife separated after Wilde was convicted of gross indecency and sentenced to prison. He died in 1900 aged 46. Oscar Wilde lived a short, controversial life. He was a phenomenal writer, an excellent father and a rather flamboyant homosexual.
